Hi all;
Well it was transfer week and both Dick and I made it through. We had 14 elders and sisters arrive this week from the MTC on Tuesday. Then on Thursday, we received thee "visa waiters", elders who are waiting to go to a mission in Mexico but Mexico hasn't approved their visas yet. We had a district meeting on the same day, so I am sure that at least half the missionaries were in the office on Tuesday and Wednesday. I am getting the hang of my job, but I still can't figure out two reports. That is majorly stressing me out. I hope I can get the hang of it. Right now I am feeling pretty incompetent. My hand still is hurting and that is a little bit of a nuisance. It has been almost a month and I am still pretty limited by what I can do.
On transfer day, Elder Lund drives and drives the missionaries. He drove to Malad, Idaho to pick up elders and bring them to Ogden, then in the afternoon, he redrove the new North end missionaries to their locations in Logan and Idaho. He was tired when he returned home that evening. But we love doing the missionary work. Lots of love to all of you and thanks for your prayers.
Glad to have found your blog! Katie told us about it. She made it to New Zealand, thanks to good friends like you! Hope your arm heals quickly, Shauna. Tell the "Car Czar" hello from us.
