What a time!

I first want to share a fun picture. On Dec. 2, the mission held a mission conference. In anticipation, Dick and I, along with Marsha, made 250 chocolate covered marshmallows. We had a great time, and the missionaries loved them.

Dick and I had a most interesting time, as most of you are aware. Sat. night, before going to the MTC, I slipped and fell and broke my right radial bone  and most of the little bones in my wrist. Dick and I spoke in church, our farewell, on Sunday, went to the MTC on  Monday and Tuesday, had surgery on my arm/wrist Tuesday night, then returned to the MTC to finish up Thursday and Friday. We loved the MTC and felt  the Lord's spirit so strongly while there. It was so incredible to be there with Dick. We felt so blessed to be there.

So, now it has been two weeks that we have been working in the office and we absolutely love it. We usually leave our home around 7:00am and we get home between 6 or 7 pm. We are incredibly tired when we get home, but we feel so blessed to be working in the Lord's vineyard in Ogden. We have a very diverse group of missionaries. they come from all around the world: Australia, Norway, Slovenia, Thailand, Cambodia, Mongolia, Samoa, Tonga, Thailand. Canada, South Africa as well as the good old USA. The mission has English and Spanish Speaking Areas and we have about 215 missionaries. We have 8 Senior Couples as well as the Senior couples in the office. Already we know this is the greatest mission and we love Pres. and Sister Olson. We are happy and excited to be serving here.
