We Started Training!

Hi all:

Well today was a wonderful day. We started our training at the Ogden office where we will be working. Sister Langford is incredible. Here is a picture of Elder and Sister Langford (L) and Sister and Brother Christensen (R).

It will be hard to step into Sister Langford's shoes. She is so patient and organized. She made me an entire binder of instructions on how to do everything. It is incredible. I spent most of the day working with her on records of new incoming pre-MTC missionaries that will be coming to the mission starting in Jan 2011. We spoke with about 10 missionaries as they had to come to the office for one reason or another. It was exciting to feel their energy and enthusiasm.

Dick is working with Elder Christensen as he learns his job as fleet coordinator. Tomorrow, he will be taking some Elders to the Mexican Consulate so they can get their visas.We both had a great day and we are excited to be set apart and start "officially". December can't come soon enough.

Note: Elder Langford didn't want Dick to feel badly that he didn't have a badge so he just found an extra "old used" badge of someone else for him to wear for the picture. It will be nice to be set apart and get our own "black badge".
